CONFERENCE TRUST FUND 1990
The fund was established by the 1989/90 Conference Committee with a grant of $50,000 as an extension to the theme of the 1989/90 'Conference of Friendship' to strengthen the bond of friendship between the Pacific Islands & District 9910 clubs and the Clubs in New Zealand.
 
Income from this fund is available for the following purposes:
  • To assist financially and support projects of World Community Service or local community service in the Pacific Islands, of those Clubs of District 9910 situated in the Pacific Islands.
  • To assist financially and support any under-privileged persons situated in the Pacific Islands of District 9910.
  • To assist financially and support the educational and vocational exchange between people of the Pacific Islands of District 9910 and New Zealand.

FONDS DE LA CONFERENCE DE 1990
Ce fonds a ete cree par la Commission de la Conference 1989/90 par un placement de 50,000 $ afin de prolonger le theme de cette "Conference de l'amitie”. Il sert a renforcer les liens d'amitie dans le district 9910 entre les clubs des iles du Pacifique et les clubs en Nouvelle-Zelande.
 
Les revenus de ce fonds sont disponibles pour les buts suivants:
  • Aider financierement et soutenir les projets des clubs du District 9910 situes dans les îles du Pacifique qui lancent des Actions d'interet public mondial ou local dans les îles du Pacifique.  
  • Aider financierement les defavorises habitant les îles du Pacifique du District 9910.  
  •  Aider financierement et soutenir les echanges relatifs a l'education et la formation professionnelle entre les peuples des îles du Pacifique du District 9910 et la Nouvelle-Zelande. 
Le tout a des fins charitables, tel que defini dans la Loi de 1957 sur les societes de charite (Nouvelle Zelande).

THE VIKI CHEVOLOT YOUTH EXCHANGE TRUST
To assist students who exhibit the character and ability to take part successfully in the Rotary International Youth Exchange Programme of District 9910 but who are unable to do so because of financial circumstances.
 
The late Viki and Robert Chevolot of New Caledonia founded this Trust in 1995, because of the love they shared for the Rotary International Youth Exchange Programme and youth in general.
 
The Trustees for the fund will include the current Governor, and the current District Chairman of the International Youth Exchange Committee. Any club that believes they have a suitable applicant may apply for funding.
Clubs are encouraged to donate to the Trust.

FONDS VIKI CHEVOLOT POUR LES ECHANGES DE JEUNES
Aider les eleves qui semblent aptes et capables de prendre part avec succes au Programme d'Echange de Jeunes du Rotary International du District 9910, mais qui sont limites financierement.
 
Les regrettes Viki et Robert Chevolot de Nouvelle-Caledonie ont cree ce fonds en 1995, en raison de l'affection qu'ils partageaient pour le Programme d'echange de jeunes du Rotary International et avec les jeunes en general.
 
Le Conseil d'administration du fonds comprend l'actuel gouverneur de district et l'actuel President de la commission du district pour les echanges internationaux de jeunes. Tout club qui estime qu'il a un candidat approprie peut effectuer une demande de financement.
 
Les clubs sont encourages a faire un don a ce fonds.

OUTWARD BOUND SCHOLARSHIPS
There are two Sir Roy McKenzie Outward Bound Scholarships available for Northland schools to assist students wishing to attend programmes offered by Outward Bound.
Age limits are 16 – 18 years of age.

Il ya deux bourses d'études Sir Roy McKenzie Outward Bound disponibles pour deux écoles de Northland pour aider les étudiants souhaitant participer aux programmes proposés par Outward Bound.
Les limites d'âge sont de 16 à 18 ans.
 
 
GREATER AUCKLAND BASED PROJECTS    
AUCKLAND ROTARY JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP
The Scholarship exists to provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young self-starters to achieve a level of advanced study that would not be possible without financial support. The study should have the potential to make a profound impact on their lives.
 
The Scholarship, awarded by the Rotary Club of Auckland Foundation was established in 1971, the Golden Jubilee of the Rotary Club of Auckland, from donations from members of the Auckland Rotary Club. Since then further funds have been donated by Rotarians.
 
Applications should be made in the name of individuals and not organisations and should be from young adults living in the area from Wellsford to Tuakau, the original boundary of the Rotary Club of Auckland.
 
The amount available each year is normally about $12,000, which may be shared by 2 or 3 successful applicants.
 
The closing date is 30th April each year and interviews are undertaken in May with scholarship(s) approved in May of each year.

BOURSE DU JUBILE DU ROTARY D'AUCKLAND
La bourse existe pour fournir une chance unique pour les jeunes débrouillards d’atteindre un niveau d’études supérieures qui ne serait pas possible sans le soutien financier.  L’étude devrait avoir la possibilité de faire un impact profound sur leur vie.
 
La bourse décernée par le Rotary Club d’Auckland Foundation,a été créée en 1971 à l'occasion du 50eme anniversaire du Club Rotary d’Auckland, par des dons des membres.  Depuis lors, des fonds supplémentaires ont été donnés par les Rotariens.

Cette aide ne peut etre attribuee qu'a des particuliers et des candidats dans la zone de Wellsford a Tuakau - le territoire d'origine du Rotary Club d'Auckland.
 
La bourse disponible chaque année est normalement a prés de $12,000NZD, qui peut être partagé par 2 ou 3 candidats reussi.
 
La date limite est le 30 avril chaque année et les entretiens sont menés en mai avec la bourse approuvé en mai de chaque année

NEW ZEALAND BASED PROJECTS    
J.R. McKENZIE TRUST
The late Sir John McKenzie founded the Trust in 1940 to mark the centennial of New Zealand. This Trust funds a wide range of charitable organisations working in the areas of health, social services and community development. There are six J.R .McKenzie metropolitan committees comprising mostly Rotarians.
 
Priority is given to disadvantaged families and children and also Maori development.
 
Applicants are normally incorporated societies and charitable trusts.

J.R. McKENZIE TRUST
Le regrette Sir John McKenzie a fonde ce Fonds en 1940 pour marquer le centenaire de la Nouvelle-Zelande.
Ce Fonds d'affectation speciale finance un large eventail d'organismes de bienfaisance œuvrant dans les domaines de la sante, les services sociaux et le developpement communautaire. Il y a six comites J.R. McKenzie en Nouvelle-Zelande comprenant principalement des Rotariens.
Priorite est donnee aux enfants et aux jeunes, les personnes a risque et / ou handicapees, les chomeurs, ceux qui n'ont pas de ressources financieres et ceux des groupes de minorites.
 
Admissibilite : Les candidats sont normalement des societes declarees et des societes de charite.

J.R. McKENZIE YOUTH EDUCATION FUND
To assist the betterment, education, advancement, and physical welfare of youth in New Zealand, particularly in cases where bereavement, sickness or family disturbances leave the children in need of assistance with their education.
 
Established in 1938 by Rotarian - the late Sir John McKenzie, this separate fund makes grants to families and individuals.
 
Types of Grants made: (No closing date)
  • Secondary School Fees (excluding school donations);
  • Tertiary Fees in some special cases;
  • School uniforms and clothing;
  • Special Tuition Fees and assessments;
  • Textbooks and stationery.
Applications for the Sir Roy McKenzie Scholarship for young people attending Outward Bound are also made to this Trust.

FONDS  J. R. McKENZIE  D'EDUCATION POUR LA JEUNESSE
Ameliorer l'education, la promotion et le bien-etre physique de la jeunesse, en particulier en cas de deuil, de maladie ou de troubles familiaux qui laissent les enfants dans le besoin pour leur education.
 
Cree en 1938 par un rotarien - le regrette Sir John McKenzie, ce fonds s'adresse aux familles et aux individus.
 
Types de subventions apportees : (pas de date limite)
  • Frais de scolarite pour l'enseignement secondaire, ou superieur dans certains cas particuliers;
  • Uniformes scolaires et vetements;
  • Frais d'inscription et d'examens;
  • Manuels scolaires et fournitures.

CHENERY MEMORIAL TRUST, LOIS DALLEY & JUNE GRAY CHARITABLE TRUSTS
These three Trusts may be able to assist Clubs with New Zealand-based projects on a $1 for $1 basis up to $3000. The type of project is open with the exception of travel assistance.
The Chenery and Gray Trusts meet four times yearly March, June, September and December and the Lois Dalley Charitable Trust meets twice yearly March and September.

FONDATION CHENERY, FONDS DE CHARITE LOIS DALLEY et JUNE GRAY
Ces trois organismes peuvent aider les clubs ayant des projets en Nouvelle Zeland, sur la base de 1 $ pour 1 $.et sont limites a $3000NZD. Tout type de projet est acceptable sauf l'aide au voyage.
 
Les fondations Chenery et Gray se reunissent quatre fois par an, en Mars, Juin, Septembre et Decembre et la fondation Lois Dalley se reunit deux fois par an en Mars et Septembre.

HAROLD THOMAS ROTARY TRUST
This trust was established by Rotary International Past President Harold Thomas, (Rotary Club of Auckland) in 1973. In 1985 the trust received a magnificent gift from Past District Governor Bernie Ross (Rotary Club of Manurewa) and his wife, which added greatly to the capital of the trust.
 
The Trust now has available approximately $100,000 for distribution each year and considers applications for grants as soon as received.
 
Assistance to Rotary clubs is usually limited to 50% of the cost of the project up to a maximum of $10,000 for each project.
 
The objects of the trust are to:
  • Assist financially any child Resident in the Pacific Islands who is in need of medical treatment or care in NZ, including fares and related costs.
  • Provide medical assistance for children in NZ or elsewhere.
  • For medical research (related to children)
  • For charitable purposes as defined in the Charitable Trusts Act.
Applications by email are preferred, covering at least:
  • the name(s) and age(s) of the child / children;
  • their location (needs to be NZ or Pacific Islands);
  • the medical condition or issue that is the concern (supported as appropriate by a doctor / health professional's diagnosis);
  • the treatment or actions the project will fund (supported again as appropriate by a doctor/health professional);
  • the total cost and sources of funding (indicating which are firm and which are hopeful);
  • the amount your Rotary club is funding and how much you are applying for;
  • the involvement (if appropriate) of island clubs;
  • any other relevant information

FONDS ROTARY HAROLD THOMAS
Ancien president du RI, le regrette Harold T. Thomas a cree ce Fonds en 1973. Ce fonds a ensuite recu un legs au deces du PDG Bernie Ross et de son epouse Mary.
 
Le Fonds dispose chaque annee d'environ 100,000 $ et se reunit mensuellement pour examiner les demandes. Ces demandes peuvent etre transmises par email et approuvees "par voie electronique”.
 
Les demandes doivent passer par un Club Rotary et l'aide aux clubs est generalement limitee a 50% du cout avec une limite normale a 5000 $.
 
Formulaire
