FRIDAY 11TH NOVEMBER 2022
This is a super-fun event where Rotarians from across Auckland come together to raise the profile (and raise funds) for Rotary’s largest international project – to rid the world of Polio. We do this by travelling the entire train network across Auckland – as far West as Swanson and as far South as Pukekohe. We’re also including the ferry network with all the ferries terminals between Waiheke, Devonport and Half Moon Bay covered.
We’re also including the ferry network, with all the ferries terminals between Waiheke, Devonport and Half Moon Bay covered.
While riding the trains and ferries we’ll be welcoming celebrity guests and talking to train and ferry patrons about Rotary’s End Polio campaign (and taking any donations that might be on offer!)
If you could like to participate, we’d love to have you along – even if it is just for part of the journey through the network.
If you can't make it on the day or are based outside of Auckland, but would like to contribute, we have a page set up to take donations at Give A Little.
How to participate:
Each Rotary club that wishes to participate needs to complete the registration form and return it to tagpoliooff@gmail.com
Each Rider needs to also complete the registration form and return it to tagpoliooff@gmail.com. This will allow you to also order an End Polio T-Shirt. To ride free on the trains and ferries you must be wearing the official red End Polio T-Shirt.
If you are a non-Rotarian / member of the public who is interested in this event or would like to support Rotary’s End Polio efforts by participating, please get in touch with us via the contact form and we’ll link you up with a club near you who is participating.
Rotarians riding the trains and ferries are also encouraged to download the Microsoft Word template to get sponsorship for their efforts.
